Note: This brief article on the history of St. Anne’s Catholic Church was inspired by the theft of the parish’s historic bell in ??? of 2026, which was displayed outside the doors of the Church in the courtyard. Fortunately the bell was found and returned but badly damaged. Although the Historical Guild 209 had offered an award for the bell’s return, no suspects have been charged or identified.
